25.02.2008 : Line Marking Services goes GREEN!
|
|
|
The Road Marking Industry is in for a change this April as our long term Red Diesel Exemption will finally be removed.
This provides a timely opportunity for Line Marking Services to do our bit for the environment by finding an
alternative renewable fuel that will also keep price increases to a minimum.
From April, Line Marking Services will be switching to biodiesel, a green and renewable fuel
for diesel engines. As its name suggests, biodiesel is a fuel oil derived from biological sources,
mainly vegetable oils and recycled cooking greases or oils.
The overarching benefit of biodiesel is that as a renewable fuel it is nominally carbon-neutral.
It is not only a wonderful substitute for petro-diesel but we think it smells good too!
